Nantwich Neptune Lifesaving Club

Well done to Steph, Tabitha, Stephen, Zac, Jenni, Liam and Lucy for completing the first part of their Assistant Instructors award. They just need to finish the practical side at the Club over the next few Saturday mornings.

Well done to you all – you all worked hard!!

As promised, I have added the Codes of Practise and Child Protection policies onto the Technical page. All Teachers / Instructors need to read through these if not already done so.

I have added the Club Competition photos to the gallery.

The photos taken during the presentations should be available for everyone to see. The photos taken during the waterwork are password protected ( because of lifesavers being in swimwear). The password is the same as usual – or use the contact button to send an email to me requesting it.

Have a look, the photographers have done a really good job!!

Well done to all our Competitors in the Club Competition last night. Everyone performed brilliantly, and did the Club proud. I have put the results on the Competitions page.

A big thank you to all casualties, judges, stewards, helpers, the recorder and the photographer(s) for making the night a success.

We have 2 competitions coming up in March:

The Club Competition is on 5th March at Nantwich Pool at 6.00pm, and the Junior Competition is on 26th March at Ellesmere Port.

If you would like to purchase a Neptune Club t shirt, please see Brian. As you may have seen, the t shirts are burgundy with your name and Nantwich Neptune embroidered around an RLSS emblem.

The t shirts have to be ordered in blocks of ten and cost £13-£15 each depending on size.  We will order as soon as we have a sufficient numbers.

Best of luck to Warren and Doug who have made it through to the National Championships taking place at Ponde’s Forge, Sheffield on Sunday (28th November). They will both be representing the North West as well as our Club.

Hope you have an enjoyable day, and I’m sure you will do brilliantly!!

I have attached the details of the Hall Walker Competition to the Competitions page. You must be 14 or over to enter – and there are 4 competitions – individual men and ladies, and teams of 2 men and ladies.

Well done to our lifesavers who took part in the Challenge Cup last night. We came away with all 3 trophies – which is fantastic!!

The RLSS are putting on a SERC competition (Simulated Emergency Response – Incident) on the day before the National Championships at Sheffield. I have attached the details here.

If you are interested, please let me know asap as we will need to set up teams and stewards.
