Nantwich Neptune Lifesaving Club

About

Nantwich Neptune Lifesaving Club runs at Nantwich Pool, Wall Lane, Nantwich, Cheshire every Saturday morning 8.00 – 9.00am.

The Club has been running for over 30 years now and has over 60 members ranging from 8 years to almost 80!!!

Our Club is affiliated to the Royal Lifesaving Society, and is part of the Liverpool and District Branch of the Society. Some of our members sit on the Executive Committee of this Branch – which means we have a say in any action or views of the Branch.

Our Club members learn water safety and rescue skills to save lives – as well as emergency first aid and CPR. Our awards range from Rookie Bronze, Silver and Gold (ASA Stages 8,9,10) up to Bronze Medallion and the Open Water awards Bronze and Silver Cross.

We have a number of qualified and experienced Assistant Teachers, Teachers, Trainer / Assessors and Advisors (CRB checked)

A number of our Club regularly (and successfully!) take part in competitions – at Club, Branch and even National level. This is optional, and extra training is given to anyone interested from 9.00 – 9.30am on Saturday mornings.
