The open water awards – Bronze Cross and Silver Cross can be taken on Saturday 5th September at Boundary Park. Prerequisites for the Bronze Cross are to have (or have held) a Bronze Medallion and to be 14 or over – the Silver Cross can only be taken by those already holding the Bronze Cross. I have attached the letter here – please print off and fill in for me on Saturday – or see me then for a copy, and for the syllabus.

There is also an open water competition for those not old enough to take the awards – the letter is attached here – or please see me on Saturday.

I have added the Rookie syllabus for each award to the Awards page for anyone who wants to see what is expected of them in the next award.

I will add all award syllabus over the next few weeks hopefully!

Just to confirm – the Regional Heat of the National Championships will be held at Liverpool Aquatic Centre on 11th September 2010 starting at 4.30pm

Everyone involved should receive letters nearer to the time….

Congratulations to the Competitors who took part in the Branch Eliminator on Saturday (19th June). Everyone performed brilliantly, and a number of you will now go on to represent the Liverpool and District Branch in the Regional heats. The Club is very proud of you all!!

I have added the results to the competitions page, and I have uploaded  the photos to the gallery (thanks to our photographer for the night!!). I have set the password to be the same for all galleries – if you have forgotten this, please contact me and I will let you know.

The club is closed this Saturday 29th May (Julie wants a lie-in!!!) – but anyone wanting to take part in the Nationals is welcome to come down and join in with the diving award which is still being practised for.

Very well done to our lifesavers who took part in the Youth competition on Saturday (24th April). Nantwich came 1st, 2nd and 4th in the Under 14’s and 3rd in the Under 18’s!!

This is a brilliant result – congratulations!!
